Hi I'm trying to compile an application using ant. Installed jdk 1.5.0 from sun, set JAVA_HOME and replaced /etc/alternatives: [root@marte alternatives]# l j* lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 Oct 3 15:38 jar - > /usr/java/jdk1.5.0/bin/jar lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 27 Oct 3 15:38 java - > /usr/java/jdk1.5.0/bin/java lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 28 Oct 3 15:38 javac - > /usr/java/jdk1.5.0/bin/javac lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 30 Oct 3 15:38 javadoc - > /usr/java/jdk1.5.0/bin/javadoc lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 28 Oct 3 15:38 javah - > /usr/java/jdk1.5.0/bin/javah Also set JAVA_HOME in /etc/ant.conf However, ant insists on using ecj although it's not referenced in build.xml: Apache Ant version 1.5.2 compiled on June 23 2004 Buildfile: build.xml Detected Java version: 1.4 in: /usr Detected OS: Linux file:/my/deja_vu/2compile/ofbiz/base/build.xml:83: Error starting ecj compiler Please help. -- Marius Andreiana Galuna - Solutii Linux in Romania http://www.galuna.ro
