FC2 x86_64 doesnt boot with SMP kernel using 4 Opterons on a Tyan Transport TX46 (Mainboard: K8QS Pro) The UP-kernel boots just fine. Also downloaded the updates. The latest kernel precompiled was 2.6.8-1.521 When i try to boot the system with the SMP-kernel it just shows me the first line: loading the kernel... Then it reboots/resets back to bios. Also tried acpi=off as a kernel option. Doesnt help. Is there anyone with the same problem and maybe fixed it? Is this a known problem? Thnx for any help. Axel
