Remove 'hdc=ide-scsi' from the command line. You do that by going to
/boor/grub/grub.conf and CAREFULLY erasing that part only.

Then go to /etc/modprobe.conf and comment out by prepending a '#'
symbol any line that has ide-scsi in it. :-)
