Check out the Xcdroast site here  .... http://www.xcdroast.org/ it will
explain what you will need etc.

To answer 'Why do you need it??', if you don't install ProDVD you can't burn
to DVD's. Without it, you can burn CD-R's not problem. That website should
answer most/all of you questions.
