That original issue (Greek lowercase glyphs where there should Roman
lowercase glyphs) seemed to be being caused by the presence of the
Windows Symbol font in my fontconfig path. Once I removed it the problem

No, neither am I. I'm not sure about that -- perhaps they changed the
stylesheet at some point and forgot to update the screenshot.

What I *am* getting now I've removed the Windows Symbol font from my
fontconfig path is a Mozilla warning that I don't have a Symbol font
installed, which isn't the case, and the page is displaying correctly
anyway. I've bugzillaed that:
