However, GUI is recommended, because some operations are always required when transcoding from DVD to DivX, such as cropping, scaling, etc. and those cannot be done efficiently in a text console. Everything, from dumping the VOBs to burning the DivX onto a CD, can be done from the dvd::rip GUI. You could use transcode to do all work, since dvd::rip is just a front-end, but it's easier and quicker with dvd::rip. -- Florin Andrei http://florin.myip.org/
