I am having problems getting my computer to hibernate when I close my
lid down in my ThinkPad T42. I have already checked apm and acpi and
there is "No APM support in kernel" or acpi/acpid command not found.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Also, I am having some problems with my usb memory stick. I tried
configuring the fstab

/dev/sda1 /mnt/usb/ auto noauto,owner,kudzu,rw 0 0

but it did not work. Any suggestions?

Take Care,

xavier
