As the Thunderbird download was finishing a "cancelled"message appeared in Download Manager and the note to "save to disk" displayed. After saving to disk,I have been unable to install and launch the program normally ,it would seam, since I can start the program only by clicking on the 6.5k shell script file located in my "Home" folder and running the shell script file.Is there an easier solution to resolving this,or should I delete the file and redo the download using apt-get or yum?
This works:/home/william/wwj/thunderbird- then double clicking on the 6.5 shell script file and then selecting "run".
Thanks for any suggestions. As one can see,I'm not at all familiar with Fedora's inner workings.
