More likely November or December unless you are talking about beta versions. Beta 2 is available now for testing, but you defintely do NOT want to use it for a production system. Unless you need to run it on Windows you probably want to stick with the 7.4.x series until at least 8.0.1 since there have been some significant changes for 8.0 and it will be more likely than usual for dangerous bugs to be in the 8.0 release as compared to the later 7.x releases.
