RH9 to FC2 upgrade

Hello everybody,
I recently upgraded RH9 to FC2 on my Presario2500. All went well.
After reconfiguring some sytem details here and there everything seems
in order. The only issues that I have are:

1) Acrobat5.0.9 plugin for Firefox0.9 started to consume overwhelming
CPU power so I had to uninstall. (Read over the net that it is a GTK2
bug soon to be fixed?)

2) On same token I replaced application/pdf viewer with 'ggv' but that
seems to have its own issues as well. When I try to change preferences
'gconfd-2' started
shooting up the CPU usage. This might be a 'gconfd' problem though...

3) which brings me to the third issue that the 'battstat-applet'
settings that I choose get reset upon logout to system defaults. This
might be related to 'ggv' issue.

Anyway the overall impression is very prositive going from RH9 to FC2,
only thing is that GNOME2.6 seems kind of slow (I use gnome-terminal
exclusively!) but I'm pretty sure this will be addressed on next
releases.

Any suggestions to the issues above are welcome!

Cheers!
