I found a solution on this list I think before, and made note of it as my laptop has no bootable cdrom: cd [install_directory]/isolinux cp vmlinuz /boot/vmlinuz-fc2-install cp initrd.img /boot/initrd-fc2-install.img Then add this to /boot/grub/grub.conf title Fedora Core 2 Installer root(hd0,0) kernel /vmlinuz-fc2-install initrd /initrd-fc2-install.img Then reboot & select Fedora Core 2 Installer from the grub boot menu. Et voila your in the install for FC2. From here you can chose all the types of install as you would from the CD or boot floppy. I think it might have been the fedora test list.... but I can remeber the posters name was phil something =) Works a treat any way. James
