Oh, for heaven's sake.

What's the actual file name that you're trying to unpack.  I'm fairly srue 
that it's not actually blaxton.ca-20040908_103234.tar.tgz...it's probably 
blaxton.ca-20040908_103234.tgz.

If this is the case, then the command is 

"tar -xzvf blaxton.ca-20040908_103234.tgz"
