Hello, I installed FC2 on my 3-years old laptop to replace my RedHat 9. The only problem I do experience is that the laptop keeps going into standby mode, every 2 minutes (approximately, 2 min +/- 10 seconds). And that does not depend on what I am doing with it (even massive up2date + Mozilla browsing + SSH connexions). I must say that my laptop is always on a AC power, and that the problem did not appear with RH9, nor with my current DOS installation or WinXP. The problem is the same whether apmd is running or not. When I stop apmd, there is no log of the standby anywhere.
