See "man yum.conf" -> baseurl. > Both are listed as canadian mirriors. Short of listing every available mirror > in my yum.conf, how can I be sure which app is telling the truth? Edit /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources and comment all server sources in there and put in those 2 Canadian mirror servers. Then yum and up2date are using the same base. You then have the RHN applet for update notifications and can use yum for all time package management. Important annotation: the RHN applet is not capable of handling FTP servers, so you better switch over to HTTP server adresses. > Phil Alexander -- Alexander Dalloz | Enger, Germany | GPG key 1024D/ED695653 1999-07-13 Fedora GNU/Linux Core 2 (Tettnang) kernel 2.6.8-1.521smp Serendipity 16:06:21 up 7 days, 13:23, load average: 0.09, 0.27, 0.32
