There is an excellent write up about it in this weeks lwn.net
http://lwn.net/Articles/99408/
Next Thursday (9th September 2004) it will become free for non-subscribers but the jist of it is that since the kernel hackers have only just been able to see the code they are finding problems with how it works.
I would wait a little be longer before taking the plunge. However I don't want to kill anyone's pioneering spirit so just read up and go ahead if it all sounds OK to you.
