There is a problem with the current released kernel which means to use
any form of CD burning you have to be logged in as root.

Actually, it's not a problem, it's a good thing as it was discovered
there was a potential when you used the CD burner as a user to
completely hose your harddrive forever.

The current kernel in rawhide has this fixed. I'm not sure, but I have a
feeling there will be a kernel update for FC2 in the not too distant
future.
