I have tried that. I tried all chinese encodings, including traditional one, and still I cant see a valid char in china.cn.

That site is in UTF-8, so you need a locale that has a default font that includes Chinese characters in UTF-8. Try exiting mozilla and restarting it like this:


LC_ALL=zh_CN mozilla
