Hi, i have a samba-server running with several users and each of them has its own directory on the server. also, i did some public-accessible directories. All user-directories work fine, but not the public-accessibles, which restricts write-access. Sorry - forgot to tell, that the mistake is in subdirs of /public 65537 drwxrwxr-x 4 samba samba 4096 30. Jul 09:13 public-all 32769 drwxrwxr-x 6 samba samba 4096 30. Jul 09:11 public-group ...while public-all works fine (no wonder with this rights...) public-group is not writeable for my group (samba). Did i forget something? Roger
