Re: Atapi CD-RW problem (ide-scsi)

The long and the short of it, for me, was as simple as adding this to the 
end of my kernel line in my grub.conf file.

hdc=ide-scsi hdd=ide-scsi

That wound up creating the appropriate links between /dev/cdrom and the 
appropriate devices.
