Fedora Core 2 : persistent xorg/r200_dri.so bug?

Hi Folks,

I am running Fedora Core 2 (Kernel 2.6.8-1.521) on a Del Latitude D600
laptop with a Pentium M processor and a Radeon M9 graphics card.

I am getting seg faults when tryinng to use VPython, a 3D graphics
package for python. The VPython developers helped me to establish that
the problem is actually with libGL and not VPython. I've done some
digging and have discovered that my seg faults look like those
associated with a known bug:

   http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=107932

According to the changelog with xorg-x11-6.7.0-5.i386.rpm (which I
installed awhile ago), this bug has been fixed, so I'm surprised that
I'm having this problem.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Lew
