display problem in fedora core

Hi Everyone,
I have installed fedora core 2 on my sony laptop having "ATI Mobility Radeon 7500C -32 MB DDR SDRAM" video graphics and (1024x768) TFT display screen monitor.
When I remotely login to a irix (silicon graphics) work station running under unix, I am not set the display correctly. The error message is:
"xset: unable to open display "scsahu.bio.cmu.edu:0.0"

Can anyone suggest me how to overcome this display problem on fedora core 2?

I tried the system-config-display commant but could not find the vidio
driver "ATI Mobility Radeon 7500C" instead found "ATI Mobility Radeon 7500"
I am not sure whether this is the problem or enything else I am not aware of.

I will appreciate any suggestion for this.
Thanks
Sarat
