So far no one has hit on the tool I saw a few months ago. it's NOT ettercap, ethereal, etherape, ntop, snort, or tcpdump if anyone has any other suggestions I am looking for the following: I) real time protocol analyzer II) real time pie graph of results thanks for the suggestions and if I find it myself I'll post it to the list.
