IBMs X series are x86 based so yes Fedora shoudl just work, Richard what 
issues are you having?

You can put Fedora on PPC you need to  install Yellow Dog first  then you can 
update to fedora  check the archives on how to do this. But the latest Yellow 
dog  is based on FC2
