Any ideas? > Mark Haney I don't remember this being a kernel version issue in the 2.6er line. It matters for all 2.6 kernel because along with the initrd it is too big to fit on a floppy disk. You may have luck with your system when not using much modules that it fits though. An alternate is to use mkbootdisk --iso to create an ISO image file for boot CD creation.
