If I remember correctly NFS uses dynamic ports assigned by the rpc
services.  So I don't think it is as easy as just opening up a couple of
ports like other services.

I did find this reference which may help you.  I believe they are
setting up NFS to use fixed ports so you can open those through
iptables.
