I'm using FC2 and when I reboot it keeps adding non existent eth0 1 2 3
... could this have anything to do with it, from yum:

Resolving dependencies
.conflict between initscripts and pppd

up2date gives me the same error, I'm using the yum.conf from
fedorafaq.org (unchanged)
