Sorry, I don't know.  The UDFs that I played with were created
by the native code in Win XP (worked fine in Linux but subsequent
consistency checks in XP would crash) or by Roxio 6 (compatible
both ways).  There does not seem to be a native mkfs.udf on my
FC1 system.  I have not tried to install udftools .

However, I tried
mkfs /dev/cdrom1
which creates an ext2 filesystem, and it mounted and worked ok
for simple tests.  I don't know if there is any easy way to
access these files with Windows (if that even matters to you).
