As an option:

Right Click Bottom Panel ->
  Add ->
    Special Button ->
      Non-KDE Application ->
        Navigate to /sbin ->
          Select shutdown ->
            Add your desired arguments e.g: "now -h" ->
              Pick a favorite icon ->
                OK
