Soon people will demand our sexual organs be removed at birth because its there and kids will see it on themselves.
I recall reading a Philip Jose Farmer short story with a similar theme, in which infants are born with their genitals on their hands, giving rise to controversy over whether they should be required to wear pants or gloves. Science fiction is a great genre for illustrating how stupid some of our customs can be.
