If you have the mod_ssl package installed then basic https should
"Just Work". Use https:// instead of http:// in the url with which you
access your site and a warning message will pop up saying that you're
using a "self-signed" certificate. Just accept the cert and you're
good to go. If you want to avoid that error then you'll have to
generate a new cert and have it signed by a certificate authority.
Unfortunately I can't say how to do this off the top of my head, but
there's docs online.
