For example the > Nautilus CD burning window is really a gui for cdrecord. Is tweaking the > config file for cdrecord maybe the answer? I've certainly come across this problem before. I have some x10 CDRW discs which are not downward happy. If I want to burn to them, I have to use the DVD writer as my CDRW is x8. Unfortunately, there is no way around this problem that I've found - if you want to use them, you need a drive over and/or above the rating of the discs. TTFN Paul -- "Look.
