Has anyone been successful in loading the
bcm5700-7.1.9e.src.rpm driver with the Fedora core 1 kernel (2.4.22- 1.2115.npt1 kernel). The tg3 drivers are old and broadcom seems to have bcm5700.o as their current module. I get unresolved symbols when I try to insmod the driver. Does anyone have any thoughts on the Broadcom drivers ?
I've been building 2.6 kernels since the release of FC2 that include the released source of the bcm5700 driver (tgz file) with no problems. You might want to try the same approach with 2.4. Alternatively, if you said what symbols are unresolved, you might get some help with that.
