Hi. Had the same problem as you guys on another machine with the A7N8X-X MB. even the nv drivers wouldn't work only vesa. Once I properly configured my Monitor with help of the recent thread titled Monitors I was able to find my Monitor and able to configure /etc/X11/xorg.conf correctly and now it works. I suggest making sure you have configured your monitor properly.
