Just thought I should let you know, since the Fedora Core project won't release Mozilla 1.6 to deal with all the bugs in Mozilla 1.4, you can rebuild the SRPM for Fedora Core 2 on a Fedora Core 1 system. It works well.
Another alternative that worked for me was to add the following entry to my yum.conf:
[mozilla-seamonkey]
name=Mozilla SeaMonkey Releases
baseurl=http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/yum/SeaMonkey/releases/1.6/redhat/1
Yeah, but it's built for FC2. Use at your own risk in that case.
I also modified the SRPM to fully optimize for i686. The rebuild is on my website, <http://physstud.jmu.edu/quarlewm/>.
