This has been answered lots of times. up2date does not RHN and you have
not to subscribe any channel. The choice even breaks up2date's
functionality and you are unable to go on. Edit
"/etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources" and make sure you have a "#" in front of
the line with "up2date default". There only have to be entries in that
file pointing to repository sites. See i.e.
