The choice even breaks up2date's functionality and you are unable to go on. Edit "/etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources" and make sure you have a "#" in front of the line with "up2date default". There only have to be entries in that file pointing to repository sites. See i.e. http://www.fedoranews.org/contributors/alexander_dalloz/mirror/ for some hints.
