Actually they _used_ to work. Linuxant offered it for evaluation a while
back and I've got it to work (albeit not reliably) during RH9/2.4
kernels. But the kernal process calls/??? got changed a few times and I
didn't manage to figure out how to patch it. 

So, like now, I don't use the modem. 

I don't like linuxant actually. They caused a huge bruhaha with regards
to the licensing and the 'tainting' of the Linux GPL.

I don't buy it from them and I try to distance myself from using their
products.

Say.. The D600 battery life really sucks you know..
