That's the first thing you need to change. Put the Hard Drive on the Primary controller by itself, with the DVD on the secondary.Hello,
I just bought a new motherboard an MSI 848P Neo-V, to create a small home fileserver. I have an old 30gb HDD: IBM DTLA-307030 that I want to use as primary master HDD, and on the same cable I plugged my DVD burner.
May be other stuff too, but start there regardless.
