Under gnome, I couldn't even play an .mp3 file, much less preview it.
I got a "Couldn't open audio" message when I tried to play an .mp3 file
with xmms. Previewing didn't seem to work either, although the option
for it was checked. Under KDE, I can play .mp3's just fine. Marc Deslauriers wrote: Has anyone noticed that Nautilus doesn't seem to preview .ogg and .mp3 files anymore?
