Stopping loading of eth0:? alias interfaces

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

In /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts I have a few eth0:1,
eth0:2, eth0:3 alias interfaces. I'd like to stop one
of these from aliases from coming up on boot while
keeping the others active on boot.

Within each file there is the option:

ONBOOT=yes

having set this option to "no" and booting, the
interface still comes up.

I'm using FC2. Any ideas?

Michael.
