Since Fedora doesn't use RHN the rhnsd service doesn't do anything. Your issue with rhn-applet might be releated to this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=111302 Try running rhn-applet-tui manually from a terminal. -- William Hooper
