did you tested it in another OS like UNIX ou Linux, because it can be a problem of formating. It may be formated with a system of reformating that Windows does'nt accept, like ext2 or ext3. I encountred a similar problem, but in my case it was a hardware probleme. my key is failure and I can not any more use it. In the begining, th OS tell me that the key is not formated, when I have tryed to format it, it told me that the key is failure. I hope and I think that it is not the same case for you. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Xia Bin" <Xia1911NE@xxxxxxx> To: "For users of Fedora Core releases" <fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 20, 2004 9:50 AM Subject: Re: Core 2: USB storage problem ("can't read superblock) > Thanks Andy > > But I found something new and strange, maybe someone will be interested in: > > I just found out that my USB storage became unable to use under Windows > XP now. > > According to Windows, the total size of my USB storage is "0", and for > only 30 mins ago it was 32MB. > > Could it be a hardware failure?
