Hello all, On my Fedora box the sysctl file is on: /etc/sysctl.cfg On my SuSE box it's in: /etc/sysconfig/sysctl (without the cfg extension). I tried looking on LSB and FHS but couldn't find anything related to this. I'm just curious...Where should it reside? I think such an important file should be in a standard location in all major distros. Jorge
