Thanks, I tried again-

[root@blue linux-2.6.7]# cp
/boot/config-2.6.6-1.435.2.3 .
[root@fulham linux-2.6.7]# make menuconfig
  HOSTCC scripts/basic/fixdep
scripts/basic/fixdep.c:97:23: sys/types.h: No such
file or directory... etc

Any ideas? Your instructions seem straightforward but
there's something I'm missing, and I don't know enough
to figure it out!
