Is there any solution for this?This can usually be solved be removing /var/lib/rpm/__db.00* and then running rpm --rebuilddb, which takes a few minutes.
This is a bug and not a feature :-) But I haven't had any troubles with this bug for a very long time.
This bug usually happens, when you interrupt rpm while it's working. Don't interrupt it !
