Hi,

Thanks. I am aware of SL, but for various reasons I would rather use FC2 (more advanced, more developers etc.). I have everything I need running on FC2 and AFS would just be an additional bonus, so will wait for 2.6 kernel support.

Arla is said to work in FC2, but it only has the client.

The FC1 rpms should work on FC2 for the server side.

Right now, if you really need a reliable AFS setup, I would use a 2.4 kernel. Many wouldn't judge the hacks to get AFS working with 2.6 as production quality.

The FC1 kernel is said to work well with OpenAFS.
