pppd < 2.3.9 conflicts with initscripts-7.53-1

Hello, Everyone :)
When I attempt to upgrade the ppp RPM that was just released, I get the
following error:
pppd < 2.3.9 conflicts with initscripts-7.53-1

I am no guru, but this struck me as odd, seeing that the RPM that I am
trying to upgrade is ppp-2.4.2-3.FC2.1.i386.rpm

I thought that perhaps I should install the initscripts RPM that is in
Arjanv's 2.6 directory (I am running the last 2.6.7 kernel that was in
that directory before the one that is in there now), but not only did
that not fix this dependency, but that RPM is actually older than the
one on our system.

Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated :)
