Pearson Indeed this is a curious message, given that you run a full FC2. From your posting it is not fully clear to me whether you did an upgrade installation coming from FC1 or a Redhat release, which then had no xorg but XFree86, and whether the upgrade was online or by CDs. You should check which xorg packages are really installed and recognized by the RPM system: rpm -qa | grep xorg | sort If that is all ok you should run a new update - using yum or up2date - because there is an xorg update out (version number 6.7.0-5).
