However the message that you are receiving now is due to a bad interaction between your sound card, alsa, and gstreamer. According to alsa, this problem has been fixed in gstreamer. Earlier today Colin Walters, Redhat's maintainer for gstreamer, announced that he was going to release updated packages. Actually I just looked and they're available now at: http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/testing/2/i386/ If no problems are found, they should be released as official updates in 4 to 5 days. Personally I'm gonna try them now :) I'll post a new thread if it works. There's been quite a few people affected by this. Wayne
