RE: alternative window managers

I wonder

What are the implications of changing the Windows Manager?

Do I keep the Bluecurve theme when installing a new Windows Manager?

Where can I find more info about this *in an easy way to
understand*, the last time I looked for it I found
mostly programmer oriented info.

Is there a top level view of X11, window managers, etc and how they
all relate together?

Thanks
