VMware CPU Load

Either VMware (4.5.2) is violating the computer equivalent of the 2nd
law of thermodynamics (perpetual motion anyone?) or it is somehow hiding
it's CPU usage. Even when the VM is quite busy the CPU usage on the
host is usually showing below 3%.

This was certainly not the case with older VMware versions which would
eat a machine alive. They claim to have increased efficiency, but this
is too good to be true. Most google hits have to do with excessive CPU
usage and optimization.

Anyone else seeing this and/or have a clue? What am I or ps missing?

Phil
